We believe that God loves us all so much that he gave his son, Jesus Christ, so that, by trusting him, and because he died for us, we may each enjoy everlasting life (starting now) and not perish. (Paraphrase of John chapter 3 verse 16).

In company with followers of Jesus around the world, we have found Jesus to be a faithful friend.
IIn common with other Baptist Churches we also believe that: Those who put their trust in the Lord Jesus are individually responsible to him. The Bible teaches that those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour should be baptised (so we do not baptise babies, but only those old enough to have made a commitment to Christ). Acting together as a Church Family, through mutual submission to each other and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, we should seek to hear and obey God's voice to us
We are thankful to know he has forgiven us and loves us.
We believe that he is alive today and that we are called, both individually and together, to follow him, and to make him Lord of our lives.
We rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us, to empower us and to instruct us through the Bible.
