Inside the Chapel

The Chapel is open throughout the week. Our main weekly service is held on Sundays at 10:30. It is an informal time of worship to which all are very welcome. We aim to be relevant to all ages, and are always delighted to welcome visitors including those with young children. We believe, and practise, the priesthood of all believers, so there is the opportunity to contibute in the service. Equally, some may feel they don't want any demands placed on them, and that is respected.

We meet midweek to pray and study the Bible together. These meetings are usually held in members' homes.

We are part of Churches Together in Hawkshead, and the other local churches where you would be welcomed include: Parish Church (Hawkshead) ? their service times vary, see their notice board. The Church is also used for a Catholic Mass on Saturdays at 6:00pm. Methodist Chapel (Market Square in centre of Hawkshead) ? services some Sundays Friends Meeting House (Colthouse, near Hawkshead) ? meeting 10:30am Sundays.

There are also churches in Coniston and in Ambleside where we know you would be most welcome.
